VooPoo's PnP X platform replaced the original PnP coil system with a redesigned cartridge, and these are the replacement coils that keep it going. Packed five to a box, each coil is a genuine VooPoo part made for the PnP X cartridge fitted to the Drag S2, Drag X2 and the wider PnP X range.
A Genuine Replacement for the PnP X Cartridge
The coil is the only part of the system that wears out, and it is the part that decides how the vape tastes. These are push-fit coils: the old one drops out of the cartridge base and the new one presses straight in. VooPoo specifies a four-layer leak-resistant base and a thermo-stable cotton wick, and the whole point of the PnP X redesign was to hold that performance for longer before the flavour begins to dull.
Which Resistance Do You Need?
Seven resistances are available, each with its own recommended power band:
- 1.0ohm - mouth-to-lung at 10-13W.
- 0.8ohm - mouth-to-lung at 12-16W.
- 0.6ohm - mouth-to-lung or restricted direct-lung at 18-23W.
- 0.45ohm - restricted direct-lung at 25-32W.
- 0.3ohm - direct-lung at 32-40W.
- 0.2ohm - direct-lung at 40-60W.
- 0.15ohm - direct-lung at 60-80W.
Match the coil to the liquid as well as to the draw: the lower resistances suit higher-VG e-liquid, while the 0.8ohm and 1.0ohm coils are the better match for 50/50 blends and nicotine salts.
